Amanda has represented employers across a wide range of industries, including but not limited to the financial, power, medical, dental, fashion, art, and jewelry industries.
Amanda’s practice has concentrated on counseling employers relevant to pre-litigation matters and defending employers against hundreds of actions filed in both federal and state courts for a variety of claims based upon the NJLAD, NJFLA, Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, CEPA, NYSHRL, NYCHRL, tort claims, and contract disputes.
She has extensive experience preparing matters for trial and first-chairing arbitrations, including proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She has also handled a significant number of matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), New York and New Jersey state agencies, and has regularly represented employers in connection with court-ordered and private mediations.
The Law Offices of Amanda K. Caldwell, LLC was founded to provide counseling and compliance services to small and medium-sized businesses which struggle to keep abreast of the ever-changing federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.
Amanda is a member of the New Jersey and New York bars and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the area of Labor and Employment Law and has written numerous legal articles published in the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and through online legal publishers LexisNexis, Mondaq and Lexology. She is also a member of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce.
When Amanda is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She is also an avid runner and a recreational artist.
